To become an enrolled Tree Farm in Vermont, a property becomes certifies in eight standards of sustainability. These standards include air, water and soil protection, forest health, and compliance with applicable laws. Successful enrollees join a network of committed landowners who show their pride of stewardship by displaying the Tree Farm sign on their property.
